Where I've Been — And What's Coming Next

 Hey everyone, just an update on things.

I've had a very turbulent few months. We moved home, I had to decorate the full place as well as act like a site agent, dealing with other trades. Between this project, my actual day job, school summer holidays with 3 kids and my father in law passing away I've hardly had anytime for writing.

I've been marketing when I can but that's about it. The last couple of weeks I've been able to get an hour here or there to work on my WIP's. They are getting there.

The 4th book in the fall series is coming along, and my wee side project, a journal type book follow corporal McGeoch trying to reach his c/o after they are separated after a zombie apocalypse starts. This one is a spin off from The Rise of the Iron Major.

I'm about half way there I reckon with this one. Cover reveal will be in a few months and I'm hoping with summer nearly over and things going back to normal I'll have more time for writing and I can finally get these 2 over the line.

Well that's about it the now. As always, stay safe, and if the apocalypse does happen, always remember, head shots kill zombies.

What made me publish.

 So I'm often asked what made me write and publish my first book, After the Fall.  Well here is the reasons. I have loved zombie fiction since I watched night of the living dead. I've been utterly fascinated by it. I try and read or watch anything to do with zombies as often as I can. The inspiration for my book came from all of these films/books. Most of the ones I've watched/read are set in USA, UK (namely London) or around the world. But very few are set in my home country of Scotland. I wanted to write a book that I could dictate the story of what happened, make it go the way I wanted. In all honesty it wasn't supposed to be published, it was a book for me to re read when I wanted. Add things on as I pleased, but a friend read my manuscript after I left it out and he thought I should look into getting it published as he really enjoyed it.
